It is well documented that modern paints can trap moisture within a wall, and cause subsequent damp issues. We carry out test panels before works commence to give better guidance on prices for the paint removal along with lime pointing repairs as necessary. This short sped up video shows you how our Thermatech Superheated hot water system helps us remove paint at temperatures up to 150°C. This is a recognised sympathetic system that is specified, rather than sand blasting that will cause more damage to any bricks or stone work.

As we offer a full lime repointing service covering Wiltshire, Somerset, and the South West, we also are asked to carry out  structural repairs to include crack stitching, masonry beaming and lateral restraint.
