You need to make sure that you ask for a survey and analysis following BRE Digest 245….Also all surveys following British Standard 6576, where elimination of other causes are carried out along with laboratory analysis also. Expect to pay for a survey and report.

I reckon this is what we have been ripped off with. We have been told a pack of lies about why the wall is damp like this one even 2 years after the work was carried out. I know we will never get our money back and I don’t want them back in our house. How much would you charge us for a damp survey in Devizes please?
